es wurde ja bereits erwähnt... aber auf english heißt es "atopic Dermatitis" oder eben "atopic ekzema".
Wenn man das in die Metainfo schreiben würde, würde google dieses forum dann auch finden... kein englischsprachiger sucht nach Neurodermitis.

Maybe we can start this thread again actually for the purpose of just talking in English. If you would like to.
It doesn't have to be about ND for I guess this is discussed enough in the other parts, it rather maybe just a part were people can communicate in a language they really like. You could ask me now for telling you topics to talk about. I don't actually know. I guess it could just be everyday stuff or a space were people might help each other with the language or what have you.
I'm going to introduce myself a little bit now just for explaining my interest in the language. As I said somewhere else, I study English. One day I want to teach it to disabled people that's why I also do curses in paedagogy and disability studies. Nevertheless English is my most interesting subject and I have really nice lecturers who often times are good for jokes. Plus I do write poems, songs and stories in English as my hobby is writing.
I'll see what happens now with this thread....

I can learn a little bit english from my english exercise book I had bought many months ago. I have still a few sentences in english on a paper I got many days ago. I need only time to sit down and try to translate it. :D

As a teacher I know a lot of English exercise books and I would find it pretty interesting to get to know which one you have. Also you should search for people who would like to learn together with you. So that you can check each others grammar and style.

@darkangel Oh yes, you are be allowed to correct my sentences. I don't know which number is important for you with the English exercise book. In this book there are many vocabulars, sentence to tranlate into English and german and there are holes to fill it with words.

I learn English alone at home. The other Peoples don't want to learn more English I think. I mean the other colleague.

It would be nice if you could just post the ISBN-number. I'll find it then. Learning alone at home seems quite sad to me. Because you have nobody to talk to. You should really search for a group. Do you have a university near your place of living?

Or a Volkshochschule. They usually have very communicative teaching methods. You can also take conversation courses there.

Ah, I don't know if there is a university in my near.

But as many years ago my brother was in my class at school and we had english lesson. We haven't learn the vocabulary together. I don't remember that when I looking back now.

Hehe. Paßt zwar gar nicht her, aber ich habe mir vor letzte Woche von PONS ein Italienisch-Sprachpaket gekauft. Die Gelegenheit ist günstig, weil der Pappa meiner italienischen Nachbarin für ein paar Wochen da ist und maaaassig Zeit hat. Und ich/wir lieben Südtirol und Italien. 6 Jahre Latein hab ich auch am Buckel. ... wenn die nur nicht so schnell sprechen würden. :mrgreen:

Soso, auch ne Lateingeschädigte.
Hab ich auch hinter mir, damit sollen sich ja die romanischen Sprachen fast wie von selber lernen (sagte meine Mutter zu mir, damals 12 oder 13, als ich farnzösisch belegen wollte). Sie kam mir mit der Argumentation, Latein sei eine logische Sprache (und ich bin absolut unlogisch veranlagt - !) und eine Grundlage, auf der ich später mit Französisch aufbauen könnte. Toll, hab im Notenstress dann nimmer Französisch als 3. FS genommen, ist bis heut bei Latein geblieben.

Aber *toitoitoi* dass das mit dem Herrn PONS und dem Herrn Nachbarpappa bei dir klappt!

I'm sorry, but I didn't have the time to look at your link. I don't know the book, but it seems to be pretty good. But actually no book in the world can teach you how to talk. Just check out all the big towns around your place of living - there will be one. I don't understand you last few sentences about you and your brother. Please be so kind to explain it again.

Ich erklärs mal in deutsch: Ich kann mich, soweit ich mich zurückerinner, nicht daran erinnern, dass mein Bruder und ich zusammen Englisch gelernt haben, obwohl wir in der gleichen Klasse waren. Und wenn, dann war es nicht oft.

Volkshochschulen! That's it! I agree with Sarah, every small town has them, so yours might too. That would be a great chance for you. Yeah, but - to the story with your brother - it is your brother (!), I wouldn't learn with my sister either even if we were at the same age. Plus, a language needs to be spoken. You can't be in Britain or the US or what have you and not speak a word and always write everything down. This would be great trouble.
